It goes without saying that I own a great debt to a number of people throughout my career. Mentors, family, friends – people that have given much more than they will ever get back in return. Likewise, to the community of colleagues that have embraced this work, contributed to it, and continue to support it through their involvement.

However, I owe special thanks to Angela Galvan, a friend and colleague – who spent way too much time reading and editing this work so that my sometimes disorganized thoughts would make sense. As well as provided on more than one occasion, the gentle nudge that I needed to get back and complete this work; the simple fact is that without her help, this simply wouldn’t have gotten done. The reality is, in spite of her best efforts, this text will still at times be somewhat murky or the text might be clunky – but I hope that in total, this work will fill a gap within the community and become a living, breathing document as the community and program continue to evolve and move forward.
